It’s Official   -   Hip Pickles have been voted the Best Percussion Group of the year for 2008, winning the Drum Magazine’s coverted Drummie award presented to “the Best of” in the Drumming World.  John and Chet are Grateful to our fans and readers of Drum Magazine for your support in making this honor a reality.   Thank you.

        Also..... The Hip Pickles were voted runners-up to Mark Quiones for Best Live Performer in 2008.

Certainly we must thank our extended Hip Pickles performance family from Zap Boom Bam, for their great performances with us on some of our select gigs.

And Finally, Chet was “surprisingly” voted as runner-up to Rusted Root’s Jim Donovan for Best Drum Facilitator.  Very nice honor for all the efforts put into hand drumming and the Drum Circle Community.
